Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), September 25, 2014 – Performing Dance Arts (www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto’s leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is announcing it will be attending the JUMP Dance Convention, taking place October 3–5 at the International Centre in Mississauga.

“This is a big deal,” says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. “Being a top dance academy, we need to make sure we’re always aware of what’s happening in the world of dance so we can apply all that we’ve learned and improve our dance lessons for children, as well as stimulate other parts of our program. That’s why we’re bringing our entire Performing Dance Arts team to this convention; it’s that important.”

The JUMP Dance Convention is the largest of its kind in the world, touring 26 cities in the U.S. and five internationally. The convention consists of workshops and dance competitions, the last of which will be featured online via a free webcast. “This convention will be such an inspiration,” Daychak explains. “Children participating in both our part-time and full-time dance lessons in Vaughan will benefit so much from the lessons we learn at the JUMP Dance Convention.”

Daychak adds that the event being held in the Toronto area is especially convenient, as it makes it easier to commit all of the Performing Dance Arts staff to attending. The only other Canadian city the convention will be visiting is Vancouver.

“When a convention of this calibre is happening in your city, there’s absolutely no excuse,” she concludes. “We attended the VIP Dance event in Ottawa this past weekend, which was an amazing experience, and we expect the JUMP Dance Convention to be just as good, if not better.”
