Alyssa Carpeneto is a Toronto-based dancer, artist, and choreographer who has been immersed in the world of dance from a young age. She is a proud graduate of Performing Dance Arts Vaughan, where she spent many years developing her training, artistry, and passion for dance. Beginning her competitive dance journey at just five years old, she developed a strong foundation across a wide range of styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre and acrobatics. Throughout her competitive career, Alyssa has performed and competed at numerous competitions around the world, earning several achievements, including placing in the Top 10 for Teen Female Best Dancer at The Dance Awards in 2022.

Throughout her dance career, Alyssa has had the opportunity to expand her training by taking classes from several renowned choreographers and educators from around the world, including Jess Hendricks, Stephanie Rutherford, Eryn Waltman, and Denise Wall. These experiences have helped shape her as both a dancer and teacher while continuing to strengthen her knowledge of movement, technique, and performance.

As a faculty member, Alyssa is passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers feel encouraged to challenge themselves, build confidence, and grow both technically and artistically. She takes pride in educating young dancers and creating meaningful choreography that allows each student to showcase their individuality and love for movement. Alyssa hopes to leave a lasting impact on her students by helping them develop not only as dancers, but as individuals.
