This year we will be having five Pre-Registration dates in June to make it more convenient for you to Pre-Register.
If you Pre-Register for our 2012/2013 season on June 12th – 14th & June 16th – 17th you will be able to take advantage of the following; First pick at desired classes, No Registration Fee, Same Class Price as 2011/12 Season & Special Family Discounts. To Pre-Register you must pay for septembers lesson fees when registering.
We will be having auditions for our Part Time Competitive Team June 9th at 2:00pm.
Dancers that register for the part time competitive program will train in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acro and an Open class, for a total of 5 hours per week. The open class will enable the teachers to teach the dancers either Ballet, Contemporary, Jumps and Turns, Stretch & Technique..etc.
The Part Time competitive program will only compete at local competitions and will not be required to attend any US or National competitions.
Dancers that are interested in joining our Part Time competitive team should have already had some training in Tap and Jazz at the very least. The program is available for dancers age 6 and up.

International Film & Video Productions Inc. will be supplying our video services this season. To order a copy of the video, please fill out form below by August 1st. Pick up of DVD’s will be done in August during our fall registration. Cost of DVD is $59, which includes taxes. Please make all cheques payable to Performing Dance Arts and DO NOT send cash in the mail. Videos will only be sold to students of Performing Dance Art’s
PDA Gives Back
During the week of November 28th – December 4th, PDA will be participating in a Pyjama Drive. During this week we encourage all dancers to come to dance in your Pyjama’s!
Below are three steps to follow if you would like to help a child that may never have owned a pair of pyjamas.
Bedtime is a special time for children when they disconnect from the stresses of the day and enter into a peaceful sleep. The ritual of bath, bed and a story is one enjoyed by many of our children. Unfortunately there are many that miss out on this wonderful practice. Heck sometimes there are magical days when the PJ’s stay on all day! This could be your opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life. PJ’s and a book is all it would take.
These donations will be distributed within our community to assist children in foster care or shelters. PDA will have the opportunity to partner with two charities this year. Yellowbrick House and Pathways; both in York region. Both these charities would welcome Pyjama’s.
