Celina Ferraro has been a part of the Performing Dance Arts family since 2014. She has trained with the full-time competitive program and has since joined the faculty. Celina has trained in many styles including Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Ballet, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre. She has had the great opportunity to travel and take classes from many well respected and highly skilled dance educators from around the world throughout her years with Performing Dance Arts.
Celina has completed her A.D.A.P.T certification in 2021, studying under Brian and Faye Foley’s Teachers Training School. She is also a 2023 York University graduate completing her studies with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance. During her undergraduate studies, Celina was the captain of York University’s competitive dance team, York Lions Dance Energy, where she competed both as a dancer and a choreographer. She is currently in her final year of teachers college, completing her Bachelor of Education degree. Celina wishes to pursue a career in teaching and hopes to continue to educate students in both a school and dance studio environment. Celina aspires to spread positivity and inclusion through teaching by way of sharing her love for dance with the Performing Dance Arts students.
