Further to being on TMU’s Scholars Circle and Dean’s List, she holds diverse experiences working with various youth groups in Toronto, TMU’s ASIPRE Lab, and Sick Kids Hospital. Leonette was also apart of the TMU Dance Pak which enabled her to continue to choreograph and dance competitively while pursuing a post-secondary education.
As a teacher, Leonette strives to create a fun and welcoming environment for dancers of all ages. She believes that dance only not promotes a child’s physical health but can also play a key role in developing their social skills and confidence. At PDA, Leonette’s goal is to establish interactive and encouraging experiences for her students by actively sharing her knowledge and love for dance.
