Julia Conte has been dancing since the age of 4 and competitively since the age of 6. She has trained extensively at Performing Dance Arts in a variety of genres including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. Throughout the years, Julia has had the opportunity to train with many established dance educators and choreographers across Canada and the United States and has won various awards and scholarships.
Julia is certified as an A.D.A.P.T dance teacher, studying under Brian and Faye Foley’s Teacher Training School. She is a St. Elizabeth Regional Arts Dance Program honours graduate and is the recipient of the student award of excellence of her graduating dance class. Julia is a recent graduate from the Schulich School of Business at York University, specializing in Finance & Marketing. During her undergraduate studies, Julia pursued her passion for dance as the captain of York University’s competitive dance team, York Lions Dance Energy, where she competed both as a dancer and a choreographer.
Julia is filled with excitement and energy for the new season and is looking forward to sharing her passion for dance with all of her students.
