Vanessa Carloni was born in Toronto and now resides in Vaughan, Ontario. A lifelong member of the Performing Dance Arts family, Vanessa began dancing at the age of three and is a proud graduate of Performing Dance Arts. Vanessa has pursued extensive training in Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Ballet (Russian Vaganova and Royal Academy of Dance methods), Pointe, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. Throughout her dance career, she has trained with renowned teachers and choreographers from across Canada and the United States, developing a strong technical foundation and passion for the performing arts.

She is a certified ADAPT dance teacher, an honours graduate of Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, a graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) with a degree in Geographic Analysis, and a member of the Ontario College of Teachers, specializing in the Primary/Junior divisions.

Vanessa’s professional performance credits include Rogers Wireless, the Barbie and Sears Fashion Shows, the annual Canadian National Exhibition Parade, and performances at Club Med Sandpiper. She has also received numerous awards and scholarships at regional and national dance competitions throughout her competitive dance career.

As Co-Director of Performing Dance Arts Etobicoke & Yorkdale, Vanessa is passionate about creating a positive, inspiring environment where dancers can grow both technically and personally. She takes immense pride in helping each student build confidence, develop a love of dance, and achieve their individual goals both in and out of the studio.
