Sherisse Springer

Sherisse started dancing at the age of 4 in her hometown of Brampton, where she became a competitive dancer in the disciplines of Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acrobatics, Gymnastics, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Her training started at various studios in the Toronto area and continued at Mayfield Secondary School of the Arts where she also learned Modern dance to add to her repertoire through a dance major and minored in Vocal Music and Drama.

Prior to joining Cirque du Soleil, Sherisse has expanded her horizons to include her expertise in Music Videos for artists such as Jully Black, Robbie Williams and Rhianna. Her film credits include Hairspray, Once Upon a Mattress, On the “L”, Ruby’s Bucket of Blood, and Mr. Bojangles where she had the chance to work with Gregory Hines. Her musical theatre credits include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, and she is currently the understudy for the lead role of Crimson inCirque Du Soleil’s Criss Angel Believe in Las Vegas.
