Cassandra Carpino
For Cassandra, movement in all its forms is a lifelong passion. Her journey began more than 20 years ago at Performing Dance Arts Vaughan, training in Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Ballet, Acro, and Contemporary. She danced competitively across Ontario until age 18 before transitioning to post-secondary studies to elevate her craft.
Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from York University (specializing in choreography and performance) and a Minor in Kinesiology. This powerful combination allows her to blend the artistry of dance with the science of movement, bringing both high-level creativity and injury-prevention techniques into the studio.
As a certified ADAPT instructor, Cassandra has spent the last decade teaching at Performing Dance Arts, where she choreographs creative, high-energy competition routines in Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop. To complement her dance background, she has spent the last 10 years studying diverse movement modalities.
She is also a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Educator, completing her initial 200-hour training at YogaTree (2018) and her advanced 500-hour certification through Yoga Medicine (2021–2026). Her specialized trainings are; Yin, Meditation, Fascial Release, Yoga Nidra, Lymphatic Drainage, Mental Health Awareness, and Pranayama. This expertise blossomed from a personal interest into a deep commitment to mindful movement and mental clarity.
Further rounding out her wellness toolkit, Cassandra recently earned her STOTT Pilates Mat Certification through Merrithew, also completing advanced mat training this past summer.
Cassandra’s classes focus on cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance through proper alignment. Her ultimate goal is to help students connect deeply with their bodies, empowering them to move with confidence and unlock their full potential.
