Hanna trained as a competitive dancer for 13 years in various styles such as Acro, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, HipHop, Contemporary, and Modern.
She has since completed her post-secondary degree in the Dance Program at York University in the Performance/Choreography stream, graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with honours. She trained under prominent Toronto choreographers and artists including John Ottman, Julia Sasso, Syreeta Hector, and Tracy Norman.
Hanna has been choreographing since the age of 17 for various competitive studios in the GTA, as well as for the Miss World Canada and Miss Teenage Canada pageant.
