Toronto, Canada (PRWEB), April 3, 2014 – Performing Dance Arts (www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto’s leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is proud to present its Acro Summer Intensive Program with Andrea Mulder.

Performing Dance Arts’ Acro Summer Intensive Program with Andrea Mulder runs from July 28th – 31st and from August 25th – 28th. Available for ages five and up, the Acro Summer Intensive Program is the perfect way for dancers to keep their bodies and minds in shape this summer.

“Acro is a gym-based strengthening and stretching program that will keep you in shape this summer,” says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. “A combination of dance, acrobatics, and gymnastics, our Acro Summer Intensive Program is a great way to develop strength and flexibility, learn new tricks, and improve old ones.”

Daychak explains that while acro is designed for dancers and other stage performers who want to learn acrobatic skills and tumbling, the Acro Summer Intensive Program is not just for acrobats; it’s a great opportunity for all dancers, regardless of skill level or discipline, to improve their flexibility and strengthen their bodies. The Acro Summer Intensive Program can also help dancers with all other types of dance.

Instructor Andrea Mulder has studied under some of the most respected and admired teachers and choreographers in Canada. She is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics. Mulder is an associate and a full member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, trained extensively in the Royal Academy of Dance method, and completed her coaching certification in gymnastics. On top of that, she graduated from York University with honours for her double major in dance and kinesiology. Over the last 10-plus years, Mulder has won many awards for her choreography and training across Canada and the United States.

“The Acro Summer Intensive Program at Performing Dance Arts is a fun way for kids to learn about balance, coordination, strength, and fitness,” Daychak concludes. “Anyone interested in being part of our Acro Summer Intensive Program can either contact Performing Dance Arts at 1-905-856-1030 or visit our studios at 331 Cityview Boulevard, Unit #2 in Woodbridge.”

A vibrant and inspiring dance facility, Performing Dance Arts has been providing a friendly and creative atmosphere for kids for over 26 years.
